We refer to these one-time pay downloadable mini-games as “Arcade” games.
Generally less than 10 Megabytes in size, an Arcade game is downloaded in “demonstration mode” by the gamer directly from our clients’ website games channel. This demonstration version of the game has been partially game-play restricted, meaning that the gamer can only play the game for a predetermined amount of time or until the achievement of a certain difficulty level within the game.
During game-play of the demonstration version, the gamer is periodically prompted to purchase the unrestricted version of the game. If the gamer decides to upgrade their demonstration version A NEW DOWNLOAD IS NOT REQUIRED! The gamer simply enters their credit card information into our secure server, whereupon an “unlock code” is automatically generated and emailed to the user. Having converted their demonstration version of the game into an unrestricted version, the Arcade game is ready to be enjoyed for hours, months, years!!

We refer to these monthly subscription pay games as “MMORPGs”.
As the name suggests, MMORPGs are games simultaneously played by thousands of gamers while they are connected to the Internet. Generally, each gamer develops their own character, or “avatar”, to physically represent and role-play them self in the 3-dimensional game environment. A gamer might choose to be a wizard in the adventure genre of MMORPG, the manager of a baseball team in the sport genre of MMORPG, and so on…
MMORPGs are self-contained persistent gaming worlds that evolve even while a given individual player is not currently playing. Upon reconnecting to the game, the gamer may find that they have missed a crucial meeting, a soccer practice or the funeral of a colleague – each event having an impact on the gamer’s respective character. Live instant messaging person-to-person interactivity is a key element to these games, as gamers collaborate to wage battles, follow quests or simply survive another day!
