  • How can I determine which video card my computer has?
    1 Go to the START menu and select SETTINGS
    2 Select CONTROL PANEL.
    3 Once the control panel opens, double click the SYSTEM icon.
    4 In the dialog box that opens, select the DEVICE MANAGER tab (in Windows XP select the HARDWARE tab and then DEVICE MANAGER). Be sure that the VIEW DEVICES BY TYPE button is set.
    5 Click on DISPLAY ADAPTERS. The list will open and give you the name of the video card installed in your computer.
    6 Additional information about a card can be obtained by double clicking on the card name. Once the dialog box opens, select the DETAILS tab.

  • The game display is corrupted, freezes mid-play or the graphics just don't look right. Sometimes the game just crashes.
    If you are able to initiate game play but sections of the screen, background or options menu become graphically corrupted, the video card in your computer may not support Virtual Table Tenis.

    The following video cards may not support SeaWar:
    ATI Rage IIC with driver macxw4.drv v4.11.01.2474
    Diamond Monster 3D II
    nVidia GeForce II Mx

    Please see Minimum System Requirements for additional information on RAM requirements for video cards. Updated drivers may be available for some video cards; please visit your video card manufacturer's website.

  • Where can I download updated drivers for my video card?
    Most computer manufacturers make new and updated drivers available on their websites, which may resolve graphical issues with this game (as long as you meet all other Minimum System Requirements).

    ERROR MESSAGES:
  • "TENISVIRTUAL caused an invalid page fault in module TENISVIRTUAL.exe"
    You received this message because your video driver cannot support Virtual Table Tennis. Downloadable drivers may be available to resolve this error. See Display, Graphics and Video Card Questions.

  • "Failed to DrawSpriteSimple"
    You received this error message because the video card in your computer does not support Virtual Table Tennis. See Display, Graphics and Video Card Questions.

  • What is DirectX?
    Microsoft DirectX is an application programming interface (API) for Windows-based PCs which allows software developers to write code that accesses specialized hardware features without having to write hardware-specific code. This means that DirectX lets the same software code - i.e. multimedia game - be used on numerous types of PCs.

  • Where can I download DirectX?
    3DBlitz requires DirectX version 7.0 or higher, which can be downloaded from Microsoft.

  • I downloaded the game but it will not launch
    Is Windows95/ME/2000/XP your operating system? If so, these operating systems do not yet support Virtual Table Tennis. See Minimum System Requirements.
