AUDIO and SOUND CARD QUESTIONS:
How can I determine which sound card my computer has?

1 Go to the Windows START menu and select SETTINGS
2 Select CONTROL PANEL.
3 Once the control panel opens, double click the SYSTEM icon.
4 In the dialog box that opens, select the DEVICE MANAGER tab (in Windows XP select the HARDWARE tab and then DEVICE MANAGER). Be sure that the VIEW DEVICES BY TYPE setting is selected.
5 Click on SOUND, VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLERS. The list will open and give you the name of the sound cards installed in your computer.
6 Additional information about a sound card may be obtained by double clicking on the individual sound card name. Once the dialog box opens, select the DETAILS tab. |

The game display is corrupted, freezes mid-play or the graphics just don't look right.

If you are able to initiate game play but sections of the screen, background or options menu become graphically corrupted, the video card in your computer may not support 3DBlitz.
The following video cards may not support 3DBlitz:
- ATI Rage IIC AGP with driver macxw4.drv v4.11.01.2474
- Diamond Monster 3D II with driver mnstr.drv v4.10.01.0205
- Diamond Stealth 3D 3000 with driver s3v.drv v4.10.00.1681
- Intergraph Intense 3D Voodoo with driver promtn.drv v10.01.0073
- Matrox G400

"Error starting program. A required file was not found"
For file DINPUT.DLL:
- Is Windows95 your operating system? If so, this system does not support 3DBlitz. See Minimum System Requirements.
- For all other operating systems, you must have DirectX7.0 or greater installed on your computer. See DirectX for more information on locating and installing DirectX on your computer.
For file SNMPAPI.DLL
- You received this error message because your operating system cannot support 3DBlitz. See Minimum System Requirements.
